CURRENTS OF HOPE INTERNATIONAL
Currents of Hope International is a 501c(3) non-profit organization that was founded on August 2015, by Minister Nelly Wafula and her husband, Pastor William Wafula. This organization supports orphans and needy children in Africa. This is a passion that Minister Nelly had since childhood.
As she grew up, she would be moved by seeing children in poverty and without parents. She would visit orphanages and give them clothes, shoes, and other basic needs, that she could afford. This couple have a heart to help children that are facing life challenges, in order for those children to reach their full potential. With God's help on December, 2014, Minister Nelly launched her first album "Don't Give Up".
At this point, she and her husband decided that it was a good time to give back to the society by starting the organization. Their Music ministry supports these children. So far, they have 10 children in Kenya. 3 are in High School and 7 are in elementary school.

OUR SUPPORT PROGRAMS
Currents of Hope International tackle critical problems in three supportive program areas
Physiological support
Currents of Hope International supports the orphans and the poor by providing basic needs.
Spiritual & Emotional support
We support our kids spiritually and emotionally by encouraging the guardians and parents to get the children involved in religious activities as well as by sending spiritual leaders and counselors to meet the children and provide general and individualized support.
Educational support
We provide school supplies and well as maintain a continuous communication with the teachers.

"Blessed is he who considers the poor; The Lord will deliver him in time of
trouble. The Lord will preserve him and keep him alive and he will be blessed
on the earth; He will not deliver Him to the hand of his enemies. The Lord will
strengthen him on his bed of illness, and He will sustain him on his sick bed (
